Drug Testing & Illegal Drugs Guide
LWD testing kits provide fast and reliable results for many legal and illegal drugs. Below is a partial listing of the most commonly tested substances.
Our testing kits cover the panels below and more. Kits are shipped directly to you in discreet packaging, in singles or multiple packs — contact LWD to order, or use the convenient fax order form.
Marijuana (THC)
Marijuana — the most often used illegal drug in the United States — is a product of the hemp plant, Cannabis sativa. Of the roughly 400 chemicals found in the cannabis plant, THC affects the brain the most.
Short-term effects include problems with memory and learning, distorted perception (sights, sounds, time, touch), trouble with thinking and problem solving, loss of motor coordination, increased heart rate, and anxiety.
Cocaine / Crack
Cocaine is a drug extracted from the leaves of the coca plant. It is a potent brain stimulant and one of the most powerfully addictive drugs.
Cocaine can be snorted or dissolved in water and injected. Crack cocaine can be smoked.
Methamphetamine
Methamphetamine ("meth") is an addictive stimulant that strongly activates certain systems in the brain. It can be taken orally, injected, snorted, or smoked.
Chronic use can cause paranoia, hallucinations, repetitive behavior, and delusions. Other possible effects include increased wakefulness and insomnia, decreased appetite, irritability/aggression, anxiety, nervousness, convulsions, and heart attack.
Ecstasy (MDMA)
MDMA, or Ecstasy, is a synthetic drug with amphetamine-like and hallucinogenic properties. Taken in pill form, users sometimes take Ecstasy at "raves," clubs, and other parties for its mood-enhancing effects.
PCP (Phencyclidine)
PCP is a white crystalline powder, readily soluble in water or alcohol, that turns up on the illicit drug market in tablets, capsules, and colored powders. It is normally snorted, smoked, or eaten.
Effects can include shallow breathing, flushing, profuse sweating, generalized numbness of the extremities, and poor muscular coordination. Many PCP users are brought to emergency rooms because of its unpleasant psychological effects or overdoses.
Opiates & More
Our kits and laboratory panels also cover opiates (heroin, codeine, morphine), amphetamines, barbiturates, benzodiazepines, methadone, oxycodone, and tricyclic antidepressants — see the 10-panel kit for the full list.
